From the diary of Silvan the Dryad Session date: 4.9.2004 1.5. Samuel ordered all the black steel loot to be gathered together and brought back to Myrnur's armories. The orc rejoined us, though he was a demon these days. Hêrâ took full responsibility of him. We returned to the city and went to bed. We saw a good bunch of orc corpses outside the palace. 2.5. We ate breakfast, after which Samuel wanted all the Angels together for a debriefing. We went to the great gathering spot. Samuel explained that this mission had also had a second meaning, which we hadn't been told about. During the battle, Firian's sword elves had assaulted Deilo's possible hiding place. Unfortunately, Deilo had been aware of the coming attack, and the sword elves had encountered some balrogs. After taking some casualties, the sword elves managed to withdraw. In any case, the Angels' part of the attack had been a complete success, and we'd managed to carry it out with no casualties. Enemy casualties had been 42 incubi, and we'd managed to capture their equipment. While the angels had been gone, orc mercenaries had assaulted the palace, but had been slain. The state of Myrnur was looking for candidates for a certain position. We were given three questions we were required to answer, and we did. Longfoot managed to answer the questions perfectly. He was chosen to study Knowledge Magic. I ran across Angela/Tamaol in one of the palace's corridors. She told me to come see her at some point. I didn't have anything else to do, so I went to her. [15:29] *** Tamaol is now known as Tamala Tamala suggested a deal to me, and I accepted. I had to quit the angels in order to do so, however. I was also given a new mission, to send Quaylan a message and spy on his and Tamala's meeting. I'm unsure of my feelings of Tamala now. I do recognize the personality of the old Tamaol in her. Still... 3.5. I spied on their meeting in a forest. Tamala said that everything that Quaylan had done was known - Tamala's dryads had been spying on him. She confronted him about his activities and the fact that Quaylan had a tattoo again. Q was quiet for a moment, and then demanded Tamala to remove her spies in exchange for the information. She agreed, and warned him of Fleandor and his plans. She agreed to assist Quaylan against Fleandor. Apparently, the chaos god hadn't liked Fleandor entering the Chaos Dimension. Fleandor had caused a lot of trouble there, and had been trying to open a portal back to the Order Dimension. Fleandor had been imprisoned, but the two Fleandors were somehow linked and the Fleandor in this world was apparently trying to find a way to reunite each other. The chaos god had decided that all influence the Chaos Dimension had ever had in this world would have to be removed and destroyed. The tattoo was in place to ensure Quaylan's obedience. Quaylan wasn't entirely sure how the chaos god knew it, but apparently there was going to be a big war around here. For some reason, the chaos god wanted to move people safe from here and had set up portals for this purpose. The portals led to entirely new continents. Tamala would put her dryads to spy on Fleandor, and called me forth to prove that Quaylan had really been under constant watch. 5.5. Samuel sent us on some sort of mission. We began flying over the orcish lands in order to find a trail Longfoot could track. We saw about 400 orcs on a march. They seemed to be in full battle gear. We continued past them to an Orcish Tower, obtaining valuable knowledge through Longfoot's knowledge spells. Hêrâ left on wing to warn Myrnur of the 400 orcs. She returned in about three hours, having reported to Samuel. Session close: 19:18 4.9.2004
