From the diary of Silvan the Dryad Session date: 25.1.2004 We headed for Cenoby to buy some cenopies. We talked with the locals and were told that the problem with cenopies was that they only lasted for about 3 to 4 days before getting dry and dull. Some people were also jealous, claiming magic had been used to make the pies. The matter had been investigated by agents from Dorandor, but apparently the claims had been false. We suddenly remembered that, according the Master, our demon could only learn Demon and Order magics, because demons do not have spirits. From that, we could assume that Demon and Order magics would still exist if the gods died. We saw flowers, candles, and food by Tamaol's statue. Apparently, the rumors of Tamaol's death (*sniff*) had already reached the village. Wolfgar complained about missing people. It was thought likely that they had been captured by demons. There'd been a group of people thinking about going to Aleandor to find out about the missing people, but it had been decided to be too dangerous. We took a list of missing people and returned home. We returned to Dorandor and went to Ye Mage Shoppe to ask for the value of the sort of healing item THE MASTER had offered us. We found out the worth of it would be measured in tens of gold pieces. The lesser items would be measured in hundreds of silver pieces. We deemed everything that was for sale here to be too expensive for our puny wallets. We returned to The Master's Hut. There we ate the cenopies, which were very tasty, good and deliciously fine. Yummy yum yum. We began practicing magic skills. Life magic was easy, I learnt that in three days, but I couldn't master Channelling magic in the whole rest of the time I tried to learn it. On the weekends I climbed trees and went to the Old Man's place to listen to his stories. While going to visit the Old Man for the first time, we encountered a large group of Sentinels in a hurry. The Old Man seemed to be glad to have some company. 7.3. After spending the three weeks practicing, we decided to get going. As we were leaving, our KoD teacher showed up and told us where we should report in Aleandor. Werner, Tonica, and the Pie Cousin joined us. While crossing the orcish bridge, the elves told us that the orcs would take between 5 and 100 silvers as a road toll. We would go north, passing the Slaver Clan's slave sale. We reached the first checkpoint, and told the orcs that we didn't have anything valuable. They took 30 silvers from us. Passing the slave trade, we saw the orcs cast many unpleasant glances at us. The PC seemed pretty inexperienced, and seemed to be glad to be on this great adventure. I thought he didn't seem like he was the sharpest branch in the tree.
